McDonalds Pokemon 25th Anniversary cards!

February is a special month for Pokemon! Already happening right now, the Nintendo and The Pokemon Company is working with McDonald’s to deliver Pokemon TCG card packs to Happy Meals across the USA. This isn’t the first time McDonalds released Pokemon cards with Happy Meals, but it IS the first time said cards were sold in randomly-assorted packs. Or semi-randomly-assorted, anyway.
..
Where to find Pokemon Card Happy Meals
If you’re looking for a McDonalds with Pokemon card packs, highly suggest you to call before heading down. Although it is known that these are MASSIVELY PRINTED and available, it is still best to call ahead. Seen and heard too many pre-sold cases that went on.

How rare are these cards?
There isn't a fixed number or anything information regarding the cards to be distributed. But we DO know is that there are 50 different individual cards. With 25 Starter Pokemon (3 per Generation, and then 1 Pikachu), all with non-foil and foil versions.
.
What's inside?

With each Happy Meal, you will receive one of four envelopes. Each envelope contains a four-card booster pack of promotional Pokémon cards and one of the following:

  • Cardboard sheets that can be folded to create deck boxes
  • Sticker sheet with 25 stickers of various starting Pokémon
  • Plastic frame that a card can be placed in
  • Larger stickers featuring Pikachu, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble

As for the promotional cards, there are 25 in total. Each booster comes with one holographic and three non-holographic cards. List of Pokémon on the cards: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Mudkip, Torchic, Treecko, Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig, Oshawott, Snivy, Tepig, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Litten, Popplio, Rowlet, Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble.

If you run a quick search on eBay, you'll see that currently the Shiny/foil version of Pikachu seems most desirable.
Each Happy Meal has a single pack of 4 cards. Based on many posts and pages, the analysis of the packs seemed so: Each pack has at least 1 foil card and 3 non-foil cards. This ratio of foil to non-foil per pack leads us to believe that fewer foil cards were made than non-foil cards. (Duh!) And the Pikachu Holo is a really awesome looking card so we hope you get yours hands on some of those too!
In terms of the exterior, there are several different packages available. One with various bonus items like a fold-up box, and then the Pokemon sticker sheets. There seem to be no relation between the number seen on the package number and the one you spot within the card pack. Seems like all card packs are randomly inserted in.
.
Each Happy Meal costs approximately $5. Good luck to everyone trying to catch 'em all! Enjoy the food and the opening of the packs! Also, currently, no international release for the Pokémon 25th anniversary promotion at McDonald’s has been announced. Only McDonald’s Canada has hinted at a possible release, but nothing has been confirmed.
